Honorable Shri Narendra Modi Ji,

Prime Minister of India

Prime Minister’s Office,

South Block, New Delhi, 110011

🙏 We hope this letter finds you in Great Spirit and good health.

Today, we, the Baloch nation, are writing this open letter to you when, twenty-seven years ago, on May 28, 1998, Pakistan's jihadi military conducted six nuclear tests on our beautiful land Balochistan. In collusion with the Nawaz Sharif government, the Pakistani army secretly turned the majestic Ras Koh Mountains of the Chaghai range in Balochistan into a site of deadly explosions — without our will or consent.

By detonating six nuclear devices inside these magnificent mountains, Pakistan's brutal military exposed our entire population to harmful nuclear radiation, pushing us toward a path of long-term devastation. Even today, the scent of explosives lingers in the mountains of Chagai and Ras Koh.

💔 To this day, our mothers in Balochistan continue to give birth to abnormal children with physical and mental disabilities as a consequence of those tests.🌵 Twenty-seven years on, not even shrubs grow in the affected areas. Millions of acres of farmland have been destroyed, livestock has perished, and the threat to wildlife has increased significantly. The natural beauty of our region has suffered irreparable damage.

✊ Today, the Free Balochistan Movement and the patriotic people of Balochistan stand in protest against these nuclear tests by Pakistan.

We appeal to the international community to take urgent action and seize Pakistan's unsafe nuclear weapons to save this region from further destruction.

⚠️ We are further alarmed by the recent visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister to another hardline Islamic country, Iran, during which he expressed support for Iran’s policy of pursuing nuclear weapons.

We fear that if, after Pakistan, Iran too gains access to nuclear arms, it could pose an even greater threat to global peace and security.

🛑 Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji,

Pakistan's military is driven by an extremist, jihadist mindset. Exploiting Islam as a shield, the generals of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have consistently pursued their personal enrichment, using religion as a cover to inflate their bank balances.

📚 A study of Pakistan’s history reveals a consistent pattern of deception and manipulation to mislead the world.

🧪 Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan stole nuclear secrets from Europe and brought them to Pakistan. Had the global community taken firm action at the time, Pakistan would never have gained access to such dangerous nuclear capabilities.

Later, the ISI misled the United States during the Soviet-Afghan war, pretending to be aligned with Washington, while behind the scenes, General Zia-ul-Haq continued developing Pakistan’s nuclear program.

📰 Pakistan has consistently lied to the international media, claiming its nuclear program was for civilian use and that it had no intention of developing nuclear weapons. The same pattern of denial applied to Osama bin Laden’s presence in Pakistan, and to its involvement in attacks such as the one in Pahalgam.

Honorable Prime Minister Sir,

Recently, Pakistan has unleashed extremist jihadist groups like IS-Khorasan Province against the peaceful, pro-independence movements in Balochistan.

💣 Pakistan is the mother of terrorism — it gives birth to new terrorist outfits every month and rebrands existing ones with new identities and insignias, deploying them against India, Afghanistan, Balochistan, Israel, and the United States.

💰 The Pakistani military and ISI are plundering Balochistan’s vast mineral wealth — including gold, silver, copper, natural gas, oil, marble, uranium, coal, and precious stones — using these resources to prop up their fragile economy while simultaneously funding religious extremists as proxies in regional conflicts, particularly against India and Afghanistan.

⚠️ If Balochistan were recognized today as an independent state, supporting such proxies would not only become impossible — Pakistan itself would collapse from hunger and thirst.

🌍 Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi,

Balochistan, due to its unique geographical location and immense natural resources, has become the focus of global attention. At this critical time, the Baloch nation is facing enormous challenges.

🇨🇳 China is seeking to establish a permanent foothold in Balochistan’s warm waters. Chinese naval fleets are anchoring at Ormara, Jiwani, and Gwadar, and China has also made Asia’s largest airport in Gwadar operational.

💔 The people of Balochistan hold no affection for China, as it supports Pakistan’s occupying army with economic, diplomatic, political, and financial assistance — all without the will or consent of the Baloch people.

Meanwhile, the Baloch nation remains deprived of support from any friendly country. At present, we are resisting — empty-handed but with determination and national unity — the combined alliance of China, Pakistan, and Turkey.

🪖 Your excellency,

Today, the eyes of the world are upon you. The courageous actions of your army, air force, and other defense institutions in identifying and destroying terrorist hideouts in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack which was carried out by Pakistan’s extremist terrorist forces — will be remembered in golden words for generations to come.

🗣️ In a recent rally, you rightly stated that Pakistan launched its first terrorist attack in Kashmir in 1947, not long after its creation. This clearly proves that terrorism is deeply embedded in Pakistan’s DNA and will not be eradicated by a few isolated operations.

🤝 Baloch, Pashtuns can be long term partners of India to defeat this terror epicenter Pakistan.

🇮🇳 Honorable Prime Minister sir,

While the people of Balochistan were being bombarded by the Pakistani military, while thousands were being forcibly disappeared, and while our massacre continued — even under the rain of bombs and the roar of jet fighters — we extended moral support to our Indian brothers and sisters and supported Operation Sindoor, because India was on the right side of history.

We, too, understand that terrorism cannot be eliminated until its root and hub — the Pakistani military — is decisively confronted.

⚔️ The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on hatred and terrorism, and the only way to uproot this menace is through the liberation of Balochistan.

🕯️ Respected Prime Minister sir,

Had Operation Sindoor continued for just one more week, today we would be negotiating with India and the international community as an independent state — the Republic of Balochistan.

However, we remain hopeful that this operation will resume on a larger scale and be coordinated with the patriotic people of Balochistan, Sindhudesh, Gilgit, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, and Pashtunistan — all of whom have endured Pakistan’s oppression for the past seven decades and continue to face systematic persecution.

📖 In occupied Balochistan, conditions have deteriorated to a level even worse than those in pre-1971 Bangladesh.

💣 While Pakistan committed genocide in Bangladesh — killing three million Bengalis and raping 200,000 womenwithin months — in Balochistan, it has waged a campaign of genocide for seventy-seven years.

🎗️ Hundreds of thousands of Baloch people have been martyred, and at present, nearly 50,000 Baloch are being held in Pakistan’s secret torture cells.

🕳️ In 2017, even Senator Farhatullah Babar of the Pakistan People’s Party revealed on the floor of the National Assembly that there were approximately 45 Guantanamo Bay- and Bagram-style torture cells in Balochistan, about which neither Pakistan’s courts nor its parliament had any knowledge.

📈 Today, in 2025, the number of these secret torture sites has grown into the thousands.

Pakistan, in collusion with China, has effectively turned Balochistan into a vast, concentration camp — but we are determined that with national unity, we will make Pakistan army vacate our land — Balochistan.

📣 Your excellency,

On August 15, 2016, when you stood at the Red Fort and spoke with such grace and courage, you won the hearts of sixty million Baloch people. In return, Balochistan sent you heartfelt love and sincere well wishes.

📌 Sir, it is the need of the hour to translate those words into action — to stand with 60 million people of Balochistan in a practical and meaningful way, representing the voice of 1.4 billion Indians.

🕊️ Together, we can confront and triumph over our common enemy. It is the desire of Bharatiya and Baloch people that India should allow Balochistan’s embassy in Delhi, and there should be a proper communication between our two countries to discuss and protect our combined national and international interests in the region.

✍️ Yours Sincerely,

Mir Yar Baloch
